“We used Load of Rubbish when my mother passed away. Although we tried to give away as much as possible, there was still a lifetime of odds and ends that needed to be disposed of. When the gentlemen from Load of Rubbish showed up, they quickly removed everything that we had discussed, recycled whatever they could and took the balance to landfill. I cannot stress enough how much we appreciated the quality of their work, the speed with which they took care of us and at a reasonable price. Their work is good and the price is right.”

“I highly recommend this company for any of your junk removal needs. They are everything that they state they are on their website. Professional, courteous and capable. They responded to my telephone call by arranging a quote the following day, and they booked to do the removal the day after that. They showed up for each appointment on time, and when they arrived they got right to work. They clean up on their way out, and take the time to ensure that you are satisfied with their work. I have nothing but good things to say about this experience!”

“Booked with Load of Rubbish online on the weekend and set up an appointment for today (April 29th). The guys called to let me know they were about 10 min behind schedule, which is understandable because it’s been a wet crappy day. They showed up at their re-assigned time, which, to be honest wouldn’t have really been considered that late anyways. I had junk at the side of my home, in my house and a whole lot in my shed that needed to be removed. The three guys worked very quickly and efficiently, were very polite and just all around provided me with a good experience. They worked through the pouring rain, no complaints, cleaned up after themselves…my shed’s never looked so clean! Totally worth the cost. Speaking of cost, I saved 20 dollars for booking online and they only charged me what they quoted when they got here. What they say is true, no hidden fees. What they quote is what you pay. Plus applicable taxes of course. But hey, the 20 dollars off for online booking basically negates the tax anyways! A+ experience, highly recommended!”

They came a few days after I called and cleaned everything out that needed to go including scrap metal and other miscellaneous junk. Of all the companies I called surrounding the Tillsonburg area, they offered me the lowest rates. They also recycle as much as they can in order to help save the environment. They called me within 15 minutes of submitting my online booking, and confirmed all of my information. They even allowed me to upload a picture of the load I wanted removed. “Hi. If you are looking for a Junk Removal company, I would highly recommend “Load of Rubbish”! A little background is required before I go into my review. We originally booked with another company 2 weeks ago, that we had found through either Kijiji Deals or Deal Finder (not sure, my wife made the arrangements). On the day of the appointment, they didn’t show up or call to say they couldn’t make it. Called the owner on his cell and he said that he was in the hospital and that someone was supposed to call us to let us know. He apologized and sounded very sincere, so we decided to stick with him and wait another week. We booked for another day. So, the second appointment, no one shows up or calls to cancel. Once again, I call the owner on his cell. He tells me he is very sorry, they had some illness in the company and can’t make the arranged pick up. Again he apologized, said that someone should of called and offered to do it another time. Thanks, we are done! So on to the review. So the search begins again. I found Load of Rubbish on Kijiji and after contacting many companies, many calls and inquiries, I decided on Load of Rubbish, mainly because I was impressed with their website, they are BBB accredited and their “Our win, win promise to you”, which is as follows (taken from their website). “Our Win Win Promise To You Before we start any job we will give you an estimate on the space your items will take up. If we fill up less than our estimate you will be billed for the lesser amount. If we fill up more, you will be billed by our original estimated price. It is our win win promise to you”. I was also impressed with the timely matter they contacted me, after filling out their online form. So I preceded with booking the appointment. The appointment was for between 10am & noon and I was told. I would get a call around 9:30am to confirm. At 9:30am sharp, I received the confirmation call and was told he would be there in about 30 to 45 minutes. He arrived about 40 minutes later. We proceeded to check out what junk I had to have removed and was given a flat fee in advance for the cost of the job, which I thought was more than fair and much cheaper than many other places. Most importantly, there was no “Fine Print”, no “Extra Charges”, no “Junk Disposal Fee”, no “This Fee & That Fee”! Hell they even offered to sweep the part of the basement where the work was done! In the end. it was a very pleasant transaction. The service was very friendly, courteous, timely and more importantly, fair and affordable. Many companies advertise “$50 a load”. Sounds good, but what they don’t tell you, is that the loads don’t take that much and they very often have hidden fees! I got none of this with Load of Rubbish! As I first stated at the beginning of this review. I would highly recommend Load of Rubbish to my family, friends or anyone else, who is in need of junk removal! I hope this review helps.”
